Privacy policy

Your privacy comes first. This statement explains which data this site processes — and which it does not. The short version: the site has no registration, account or form, and Google Analytics 4 measures visits to every page without setting a cookie. What that means in practice is set out below.

The calculation stays on your device

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The gross pay you enter and the choices you make are processed locally and are not sent to a server or stored by us. Once you close the page, that input is gone. So you never have to provide a name, email address, personal identity number (personnummer) or payslip data to get an estimate.

What is stored technically

On an ordinary visit the only thing kept locally in your browser is your choice to close the language suggestion, so it does not reappear on every page. That is technically necessary storage for the site to work and contains no data that could identify you as a person. Beyond that, the site loads Google Analytics 4 on every page, which runs cookieless: no analytics cookie is set and the tag itself stores no identifier in your browser. Google does, however, receive the page address, the referrer, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. One exception, named here rather than passed over in silence: gr_int, our own exclusion for internal visits, so that our test traffic does not end up in the figures. It is written only when you deliberately open a page with ?internal=1 appended — as a cookie with a lifetime of one year, and additionally in local storage — and the measurement code reads it on every page view. On an ordinary visit nothing is written, and nothing on this site links to it. It holds a single flag and nothing about you; you delete it by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

If advertising is added

Google Analytics 4 is already running site-wide — see above for what that means. The site does not yet show advertising. If advertising is added, this statement will be extended beforehand with which further data is then processed, on what legal basis and for how long. The controller for the data processing is reachable at info@lonesnurra.se; the supervisory authority in Sweden is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), with whom you can lodge a complaint.

This statement will be updated as needed, in particular if advertising services are put in place.
